摘要本翻译实践报告以笔者的《抒情小巷》（节选）的英译实践为基础，对此次翻译任务的过程和完成情况进行介绍、分析和总结。本报告从接受美学的视角，探讨文学翻译中，在读者对源语文化较陌生的情况下，如何观照目标语读者的审美期待，提高译作可读性。在翻译的过程当中，译者主要遇到的主要难题包括：如何再现原作语言风味；怎样将原作中有血有肉的人物在译入语中完整重现；以及如何传递原作的文化内涵。本报告主要从以下三个方面进行探讨：语言层面，文化背景和人物特点，并结合对该小说前两章的具体翻译案例进行分析说明。最后，报告发现，要想提高译作的可读性和可接受性，译者应该，首先，不仅要准确表达原文语言所包含的信息要素，还要完整传递美学要素。在此，译者在接受美学理论的指导下采用了替代法与增译法，尽可能兼顾语言表达的信息要素和美学要素。其次，须将原作中的有血有肉的人物在译入语中进行还原。针对这个问题，译者主要运用了口语归化处理，以及举止动态还原。再次，译者通过采用释义法和加注法，在两门不同的语言之间构建起一座桥梁，帮助读者跨越文化障碍，更好地领略异质文化。本文发现，在审美期待理论指导下，结合文本特点，分析目标语读者对译作语言表达和文化传递等方面的审美需求，采用归化的文学语言和适度异化的策略，可以有效提高译文的可读性。本报告期望在一定程度上补充接受美学指导下，文学翻译研究中目标语读者对文本的重要意义，为其他译者提供可批评和借鉴的翻译思想和策略。关键词：文学翻译；接受美学；可读性；《抒情小巷》IVAbstractThispracticereportisbasedonthetranslationfromEnglishintoChineseofLeilaAboulela’snovelLyricsAlley(excerpts).FromthepointofviewofReceptionAesthetics,thispaperdiscusseshowatranslatorissupposedtofulfillreaders’aestheticexpectationsandwhatcorrespondingmeasuresshouldbeappliedundercertaincircumstances.Intranslatingthework,thetranslatorencounteredthesethreemaindifficulties:howtoreconstructthelinguisticflavorintheoriginalwork;howtorebuildthecharacterswithfleshandbloodintargetlanguage;andhowtodeliverculturalconnotationtohelpreadersunderstandtheworkinabetterwayaswellasexperiencetheuniquenessofaforeignculture.Toovercomethesedifficulties,theauthormainlystudiesfromthreeperspectives:language,culturalbackground,andcharactersinthework;anditfurtherillustratesthequestionproposedabovethroughtheanalysisofthetranslationofthefirsttwoexcerptsofthenovel.Finally,thispaperfindsoutthattoimprovethetranslation’sreadabilityandacceptability,translatorsshould,firstly,notonlydelivertheinformationofthelanguage,butalsopresentthebeautybetweenthewords.Therefore,substitutionandadditionareappliedinthetranslation.Secondly,bringthecharacterstotargetlanguagejustasthewaytheyareintheoriginaltext.Herethetranslatormainlyuseddomesticationofcolloquialismandrestorationofactionsofthecharacters.Andthirdly,byusingparaphraseandannotation,thetranslatorbuildabridgeacrosstwodifferentlangu
