Abstract3DTerrainvisualizationplaysaveryimportantroleinentertainmentandthevisualgeographicalinformationsystem.Withtheconstantdeepeningandtheexpansionofitsapplication,morerequirementsarebroughtforwardaboutthereal-timevisualizationof3Dterrain.Peoplehopetoobservemorevividandwidely-rangedterraininamorenaturalway.Basedoncurrentterrainvisualizationofthestatusquoandtheanalysisoftheexistingtopographysimplifiedalgorithm,werealizedaView-DependentandRoughness-Dependentmulti-resolutionterrainvisualizationsystem.Withoutprejudicetothebasicqualityofthepicture,wegreatlyreducedtheterraindata.weimprovedtheroughnessoftheevaluationalgorithmbasedonatwo-dimensionalarrayof3Dterrainroughnesspretreatmentevaluationalgorithm,andthecomputationalspeedofthenodeevaluationsystemhasbeenfurtherenhanced.Meanwhile,anovelalgorithmisproposedtoavoidthetraditionaltime-consumingalgorithmwhichtakesmuchtimetodetectandrepaircracks,ItreducedthequadtreetraversalnumberandimprovedtheefficiencyofT-crackselimination.Wehaveusedittoobtaingoodterrainsimplificationresults.Finally,weappliedthemulti-resolutiontexturethinkingtothemulti-resolutionterrainandrealizedamulti-resolutionterraintexturemapping,thegrowthofstoragespacewascontrolledwhilemaintainingrealisticterrain.Atlast,LODtextureatlaswasusedtomappingmulti-textureatonetime.Keywords:3Dterrainlevelofdetail(LOD)roughnessevaluationT-crack目录摘要...............................................................................................................IAbstract............................................................................................................II1绪论1.1引言.......................................................................................................(1)1.2国内外研究概况..................................................................................(1)1.3三维地形可视化面临的难题..............................................................(6)1.4本文的主要工作..................................................................................(7)2细节层次模型实时绘制技术2.1地形的表示.....
