The project is a premium CBD high-rise ofice building located in a top location in Sydney. Case Study 3: 1 Bligh Street 23 Project overview 1 Bligh Street is a 30–storey, premium CBD high-rise ofice building, located in a prominent location in Sydney. On completion, 1 Bligh Street will be a 42,000 m2 development, with an estimated cost of AUD$230 million. The building has the potential to achieve a 5-star ABGR (Australian Building Greenhouse Rating) and 6-star Green Star Rating without sacriicing indoor environment quality. 1 Bligh Street is one of the irst commercial projects in Australia to implement multidisciplinary BIM collaboration. BIM played an important role in the documentation and simulation of the project, which contributed to its distinctive design and ambitious performance. The use of BIM was set as a client requirement, and was included in the contract.
