The snow melts and I cannot go skating!” Danny starts to cry. :Don’t cry, Danny. Think about the good things. In spring, you can play in the puddles. You can fly a kite. You can play outside with no winter coat and mittens! And on rainy days, you can use your new umbrella.” “You are right, Jenny. I live to play in puddles! I love to fly kites! What’s the matter? 怎么啦? matter n. 事情, 常见句式有: What’s the matter( with) …? 意为“……怎么啦?” What’s the matter with…? 相当于 What’s wrong with…? --- What’s the matter with you? 你怎么啦? ---I’m not feeling very well. 我感觉不舒服。 ---What’s the matter with your car? 你的车怎么啦? ---It just can’t start. 发动不起来了。 Danny starts to cry. 丹尼开始哭起来了。 start 与begin都表示“开始”,用法大致相同,后面可接不定式或v-ing形式。例如: We start /begin class at eight. 我们8点开始上课。 They start/begin to go over their lessons. 他们开始复习功课。 Think about the good things. 想一想好的事情。 think about 考虑,想。后可接宾语。 I’m thinking about the problem. 我正在考虑那个问题。 Please think about how to begin. 请考虑一下如何开始。 I thought about what he said carefully.
