It inextricably linked with Suzhou social life. Suzhou Pingtan was born in the development and changes of social in the MingQing dynasties. It demands people the pursuit of local performing arts under the increasing economy and city size. Under such exactly requirement needs, Suzhou Pingtan has gradually formed a relatively fixed consumer groups and promoting together. It constituted Suzhou cultural social life in that time, assume recreation, enlightenment and some other important social function.
