TOEIC 閱讀解題技巧閱讀解題技巧　 　　新版多益將挑錯題移除並新增短文填空，另外文章理解也分成單篇文章及雙篇文章理解題兩種。總共100題。測驗時間大約75分鐘。　 Part V：單句填空　 　　單句填空共40題，每題有四個選項。這部分考題內容相當廣泛，包含名詞、動詞、形容詞、副詞、連接詞及介係詞等六大類。筆者僅就最常見之兩大題型略做分析。 一、 用字（word choice）類型：請應試者選出最符合文意的字詞。這一類試題通常選項性質全部一致，若是考形容詞則選項詞性全部皆為形容詞，例如： 　 I heard that the electrician says we should have a _____ overhaul of the wiring. (A) complete (B) fair (C) whole (D) round 　 (Longman Preparation Series for the TOEIC test Intermediate Course. Question 8, p. 158) 　　正確答案為(A)。這類題目主要考應試者的單字能力，本題可從水電工建議的overhaul（大檢修）來推斷答案應選complete（完整）。 二、 詞類/文法（word use/或part of speech）類型：在這類型的題目中，應試者必須先判斷空格應填入的詞性－名詞、動詞、形容詞、副詞或介系詞等，再針對選項選出最適當的用字。如下題選項包含了account、accountant、accountable、accountability四種不同類型的字： 　 All staff members are _____ for the accuracy of their time cards. (A) account (B) accountant (C) accountable (D) accountability 　 (Longman Preparation Series for the TOEIC test Intermediate Course Question 1, p. 169) 　　正確答案為(C)。由空格置於be動詞後方，可得知應是主詞補語，再加上空格後方為一介係詞for，因此推斷這題的主詞補語為accountable for（為…負責）。　 Part VI：短文填空　 　　新版多益測驗，將原有的挑錯題以短文填空取代。它即為一般所稱的「克漏字選擇」，應對技巧大致與「單句填空」類似。但除了語法外，還要注意前後文連貫的問題。如下方例題： To: M.
