Usage: 常见搭配：household expenses（家用开支），household chores（家里的杂活），household appliance（家用电器） household做形容词只能做定语，放在名词或代词前面。 派生词：household（n. 家庭，一家人；家务） 3. washing machine /?w???? m???i:n/ n. 洗衣机 A washing machine is a machine that you use to wash clothes in. e.g. A washing machine is run by a small electric motor. Usage： 派生词：sewing machine（缝纫机），slot machine（自动售货机） 4. cleaner /?kli:n?(r)/ n. 清洁器；清洁工人 A cleaner is a device used for cleaning things. A cleaner is someone whose job is to clean a particular type of thing. e.g. Do you know where I can get hold of a secondhand carpet cleaner? He was a window cleaner. Usage: 派生词：clean（adj. 清洁的，干净的），clean（vi. vt. 清洁，打扫），cleaning（n. 打扫） 辨析clean和clear clean: 是这些动词中最常用的词，指将某物或某处的污物等清除掉，弄干净。 clear指清除不要的东西。 fr?d?/ n. 电冰箱；冷藏室 A fridge is a large metal container which is kept cool, usually by electricity, so that food that is put in it stays fresh. e.g. I put the milk and meat in the fridge. 6. oven /??v?n/ n. 烤箱；烤炉 An oven is a device for cooking that is like a box with a door.
