German magazine Der Spiegel sparked international controversy 【n. 争论；论战；辩论】in February when it published an editorial under the headline “Donald Trump is the world’s most dangerous man”.

Within three months of the publication of the article, Mr Trump has defied【挑战；对抗】 critics and pundits to become the presumptive Republican candidate in the US presidential election this November.
