鼓浪屿旅游区简介 A Brief Introduction to Gulangyu 鼓浪屿是位于厦门西南隅的一个小岛，面积仅1.78平方公里，素以“海上花园”的美称享誉中外，是国家级重点风景名胜区。它四面环海，绿色葱茏。环境优美，风光秀丽。它还是全国独一无二的“步行岛”，岛上空气清新，没有车马的喧嚣，却时闻琴声悠扬。岛上居民多喜爱钢琴和小提琴，很多中国著名的音乐家都出生于此，故又有“琴岛”和“音乐之岛”的雅称。 Gulangyu Island, a small island in southwestern Xiamen, covers an area of 1.78 square kilometers, and is known, home and abroad, as the Garden on the Sea. It is surrounded by the sea, and has beautiful landscape. In 1988, it was listed as one of the state-level scenic spots. It is the only “on-foot” island with fresh air because there are no vehicles. Many residents on the island are music fans and play musical instruments such as piano and violin, and many Chinese-famous musicians were born here; hence its name the Island of Music. 主要景点介绍 Introduction of Main Scenic Spots 日光岩 The Sunlight Rock 日光岩俗称“晃岩”，位于鼓浪屿中部偏南的龙头山顶端，海拔92.68米，为鼓浪屿最高峰。岩顶筑有圆台，站立峰巅，凭栏远眺，厦鼓风光尽收眼底，山中峰腰怪石嶙峋，在疏疏落落的树林中，“莲花庵”“古避署洞, “龙头山遗址”“水操台, “郑成功纪念馆”等建筑，石洞、古城和历代摩崖石刻隐约可见，身临其间，思古抚今，会令人感慨万千(be full of emotions)。 Also known as Huangyan, the Sunlight Rock is located on the top of Longtou Mountain (Dragon’s Head) south of Gulangyu Island. It is the highest peak in this area, 92.68 meters above the sea level. On the top of the rock, there is a round terrace, where one can get a panoramic view of Xiamen. In this area, there are such places of interest as the Lotus Nunnery and Memorial Hall to Zheng Chenggong, a national hero who reoccupied Taiwan from the Dutch. There are also caves, ruins of ancient cities, and cliff carvings 郑成功纪念馆 Zheng 郑成功是中国历史上一位伟大的民族英雄。 Zheng Chenggong (1624-1662), called in western literature Koxinga, is a great national hero in the Chinese history. 郑成功原名“森”，字“明俨”，号“大木”，福建省南安市人。清初，满洲贵族推行民族压迫政策。郑成功激于民族大义，毅然起兵。他以厦门、金门两岛为基地，建立了强大的武装力量和完整的政权机构，领导东南沿海军民，展开英勇的抗清斗争，表现了坚贞的气节和卓越的才能，对中国历史的发展起了积极的作用。 Zheng, originally named Sen, styled Mingyan and known as Damu, was a native of Nan’an County, Fujian Province. In the early years of the Qing Dynasty when the Manchu nobles pursued the policy o
