[我的发现] (1)以上句子中，句①②⑤⑥⑦表示强调。 (2)上述句子中表示强调时有两种表现形式。一种是用do/does/did＋动词原形表示；另一种是用强调句句型表示。 (3)句③中的that引导主语从句，it是形式主语。同样用法还有句⑧。 (4)句④中的it是代词；when引导时间状语从句。 一、强调的功能和作用 在表达中，强调是对句中的主语、宾语、状语或状语从句进行充分强调而采用的一种特殊的表达结构，强调是一种修辞方法，能起到突出信息的作用。 二、强调的方式 (一)强调句型 1．强调句型的基本结构 He met an old friend in the park yesterday. 他昨天在公园里碰见了一个老朋友。 →It was he who/that met an old friend in the park yesterday.(强调主语) →It was an old friend that/who he met in the park yesterday.(强调宾语) →It was in the park that he met an old friend yesterday.(强调地点状语) →It was yesterday that he met an old friend in the park.(强调时间状语) [名师点津]　强调主语时，that/who后的谓语与被强调的主语在人称和数上保持一致。 [即时演练1] (1)单句语法填空 (福建高考改编)It was the culture, rather than the language, that made it hard for him to adapt to the new environment abroad. Who was it that you wanted to sponsor? 你想资助谁？ How is it that you will go to visit her tomorrow? 明天你怎么去看她呢？ (3)not ... until强调句式：It is/was not until ... that ＋句子的其他部分(肯定式，且须用陈述语序)．此时not until不能分开。
