Slide is suspect because of the coding problem with UM-Lessons. The “Masters College” option was automatically chosen when people began the survey, so all of those responses were pulled. Nonetheless we are reasonably confident that the majority of our respondents came from doctoral granting and public institutions. It would have been great to ask which if these institutions sought the Carnegie engaged classification in hindsight. More than one code may be assigned to each quotation.
