You give your children a tremendous advantage when you read with them, help them with homework, and meet with their teachers. This involvement is especially important in the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This parent handbook provides an overview of the English–Language Arts Content Standards for California Public Schools, Kindergarten through Grade Twelve.
