（EU） 2016/239：就莨菪烷类生物碱在某些婴幼儿谷物基食品中的最大限量，修订条例　　COMMISSIONREGULATION(EU)2016/239 　　of19February2016 　　amendingRegulation(EC)No1881/xxasregardsmaximumlevelsoftropanealkaloidsincertaincereal-basedfoodsforinfantsandyoungchildren 　　(TextwithEEArelevance) 　　THEEUROPEANCOMMISSION, 　　HavingregardtotheTreatyontheFunctioningoftheEuropeanUnion, 　　HavingregardtoCouncilRegulation(EEC)No315/93of8February1993layingdownCommunityproceduresforcontaminantsinfood(1),andinparticularArticle2(3)thereof, 　　Whereas: 　　(1) 　　CommissionRegulation(EC)No1881/xx(2)setsmaximumlevelsforcertaincontaminantsinfoodstuffs. 　　(2) 　　TheScientificPanelonContaminantsintheFoodChain(CONTAM)oftheEuropeanFoodSafetyAuthority(EFSA)adoptedanopinionontropanealkaloidsinfoodandfeed(3). 　　(3) 　　TropanealkaloidsaresecondarymetaboliteswhichnaturallyoccurinplantsofseveralfamiliesincludingBrassicaceae,SolanaceaeandErythroxylaceae.Morethan200TAshavebeenidentifiedsofar.Themoststudiedtropanealkaloidsare(-)-hyoscyamineand(-)-scopolamine.Atropineistheracemicmixtureof(-)-hyoscyamineand(+)-hyoscyamineofwhichonlythe(-)-hyoscyamineenantiomerexhibitsanticholinergicactivity. 　　(4) 　　ThepresenceoftropanealkaloidsingenusDaturaiswellknown.DaturastramoniumiswidelydistributedintemperateandtropicalregionsandforthisreasonseedsofDaturastramoniumhavebeenfoundasimpuritiesinlinseed,soybean,sorghum,millet,sunflowerandbuckwheatandproductsthereof.TheDaturastramoniumseedscannotbeeasilyremovedfromsorghum,milletandbuckwheatbysortingandcleaningandthereforesorghum,milletandbuckwheatandtheirderivedproductsandcerealbasedfoodscontainingthesearefoundtobecontaminatedwithtropanealkaloids. 　　(5) 　　TheCONTAMPanelestablishedagroupAcuteReferenceDose(‘ARfD’)of0,016μg/kgbodyweight(‘’)expressedasthesumof(-)-hyoscyamineand(-)-scopolamine,assumingequivalentpotency.TheCONTAMPanelconcludedthat,basedonthelimitedinformationavailable,thedietaryexposureoftoddlerscouldexceedsignificantlythegroupARfD. 　　(6) 　　Itisthereforeappropriatetoestablishamaximumlevelfor(-)-hyoscyami
