Teaching Plan for Senior English for China SB2A Unit 5 The British Isles Reading: The British Isles 广西横县第二高级中学 潘小兴 一．Teaching Material Analysis (教材分析) 本教学案例是高二上册的一节阅读课，主题是The British Isles。通过本课，让学生了解The British Isles包含几大部分：United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland，the Republic of Ireland大不列颠及北爱尔兰联合王国，爱尔兰共和国。而且还要让学生了解大不列颠及北爱尔兰联合王国各个王国的地理、气候，文化，历史和语言。本课通过图片及讨论形式导入，快速阅读寻找主题句，然后多种图表提示学生寻找详细信息，接着对所学知识进行整理画图，最后，学生通过本课学习后，能够口头或写作介绍某一地区的情况。 二.
