;;;;;The Map of Canada ;; The Pacific Region( also called the West Coast) includes Canadas westermost province, British Columbia. This region is known for its mild coastal climate, its forests, and its mountains, most notably Rockies.;British Columbia (BC for short) is one of the more urbanized province od Canada, with about three-quarters of its residens living in cities. And walking through the streets of Vancouver, the largest city in SC, is like walking a globle village--you see people from almost every corner of the world. ; ;;; It houses a large amount of exhibits of art and artefaces from cultures around the world, with an emphasis on the work of the First Nation people (第一民族)in British Columbia.The collection of totem poles and wood carvings here is propably the best of its kind in the world.; The city has a tradition of growing elaborate gardens--a tradition the locals take pride in.Wandering through the splendors and colours of the Butchart Gardens(布查特花园),one cannt help taking notice of the blessed life people in this part of Canada lead.; ; ; ;;Alberta is the westermost prairie province, bordering British Columbia. In the south, the open prairies gradually rise to meet the Rocky Mountains along the border. Sone of the worlds most popular tourist destinations, such as Banff National Park(班芙国家公园)and Jasper National Park are in this part of the mountains.;;;Saskatchewan;Manitoba is the oldest of the prairie provinces. Like Saskatchewan, its landscape has few prairie features. More than 50 percent of the land area is forested. Winnipeg, its capital, is a leading transportation centre because of its strategic location between east and west.;The two provinces of Ontario and Queebec are called Central Canada mainly because, historically, they have been the political and economic centre of the country. This region is also the most densely-populated and most industrialized area of Canada, particularly in the south around the Great Lakes and St Lawrence River.
