We become the biggest beer production country while we become the largest higher concentration organic contaminant country. The outlet of the brewary wastewater and the influence of the environment has been the biggest problem,which arose some concerned departments’ attention. From the “seven five”,our country has done much research on the outlet of brewary wastewater and the influence of the environment,especially the design and research department of the light industry. They did much test,research and practice on the brewary wastewater in all aspects, and they got much successful experience. They has formed a biochemstry way, and biochemstry and physical chemistry packed method. The active sludge, the biology film, the anerobic packed with aerobic, the hydrolyze and the acidfication, and SBR are the basic method. They all have their own speciaty and deficency, but they all have the successful practice experience. At the moment, there are still many new method in the research, some has achieved the expected effort and will be carried on in the near future.
