It is ... that ... 该句型中it 为形式主语，真正的主语是that引导的从句。如： It was apparent that he was ill. 很明显他生病了。 It’s a pity that you couldn’t come. 你不能来太遗憾了。 [拓展] 1) 本句型中作谓语的动词可以是be，也可以是seem (to be), appear （to be）等。如： It seems (to be) true that she is innocent. 她是无辜的，这一点似乎是真的。 It appears (to be) unlikely that he will take the position. 看来他不大可能就任这个职务。 2) 除that从句外，其他连接词引导的从句也可以作真正的主语。如： It wasn’t very clear what she meant. 她到底是什么意思还不清楚。 It remains unknown when they are going to get married. 他们何时结婚还不明确。 [即学即练] 将下列句子翻译成英语。 1) 很明显，吸烟对身体有害。 2) 他会不会来还不清楚。 Key: 1) It is obvious that smoking is harmful to health. 2) It is not yet clear whether he will come. 2. She also believes that, in the future, we will get entertainment from the Net and that television will probably disappear. （P8） 本句是含有两个宾语从句的复合句。主句是She also believes ...，两个宾语从句分别是that we will get entertainment from the Net 和that television will probably disappear。and为并列连词，连接两个宾语从句。插入成分in the future为时间状语。需要注意的是，当出现两个（或两个以上）由that引导的宾语从句，且由并列连词连接时，只有第一个that可以省略，其余应保留。 3． Some experts see our future in virtual reality — the use of computers with sounds and pictures that make you feel as if you are in a real situation. （P8） 本句破折号后面的内容是一个比较复杂的短语，在句中作our future的同位语，对宾语作进一步解释说明。介词短语with sounds and pictures作定语修饰computers，而sounds and pictures后有that引导的定语从句修饰，其中that为该定语从句的主语。在定语从句中，连系动词feel后带有as if引导的表语从句。
