Unschuld 英译版、Maoshing Ni 英译版、吴连胜吴 奇英译版、李照国英译版）对借代内容的处理方式，探索原文中借代物和暗涵的 指示物在英语中是否还存在对应关系。 通过研究，本文得出的结论为：1）译者在从事《内经》翻译前必须了解和锁 定其相应的读者群；2 ）译者需研究读者是否可以建立正确的话语表征，使指代内 容能正确得到阐释；3 ）《内经》英译版语言建议采用简易的语言。 《黄帝内经》的翻译标准多年来争议不休，笔者望通过本文的研究，为中医 传统医学书籍修辞手法翻译事业的发展献上自己的绵薄之力。 关键词 ：《黄帝内经》，指称，借代，翻译 I MA Thesis of Chongqing University 中文摘要 ABSTRACT This article argues the best way to translate the metonymy content from Huang Di Nei Jing in light of “reference”, by comparing four English versions.
