theresultofthecalculatedETobyFAO-56Penman-Monteithmethodwasapplicableonthemajorityofdifferenttopographyandlandforms,alongwithdifferentclimaticconditions.Therefore,theFAO-56Penman-MonteithmethodwasintroducedtocomputeEToforInnerMongoliaAutonomousRegioninthisessay.Throughthecalculationofdryness,therecamethetemporalandspatialcharacteristicsofmulti-yearaveragedrynessinInnerMongolia.Thevalueofthedrynessmentionedbeforetendedtohavealateraldistributionfromwesttoeast,theunderlyingtrendwas:itwaslargeinthesouthwestregionandbecamesmallerwhenitcametothenortheastplaces,thevalueofthedrynessinmostplacesofInnerMongoliarangedfrom2.0to10.6,suggestingthatthisregionwasinarelativedroughtsituationoverall.Ifthedegreeofdrynesswasdividedintodifferentdistricts,theinterannualchangesofdrynessineverydistrictwasverybig.Theinterannualfluctuationwasbiggerinthewestdistricts,theannualcoefficientofvariationofdrynesswas38.85%,however,theoveralltrendwasthatthedrynessvalueofsoilsurfaceinwestregionsreducedslightlywithwhoserateofclimatetendencywas-4.6/10a.Themulti-yearaveragevalueofdrynessinwestregionswas29.5whichbelongedtothearidclimate;theannualcoefficientofvariationofdrynessinmidwestareaswas36.09%,accompaniedbyawidefluctuation.Butthearidityindexoftheseregionschangedfew,itsrateofclimatetendencywas0.18/10a,themulti-yearaveragevalueofdrynessinmidwestregionswas6.3whichbelongedtothearidclimate;whiletheinterannualfluctuationofnortheastandmiddleregionstendedtobestablerelatively,theirannualcoefficientsofvariationofdrynesswere11.03%and14.03%.Themulti-yearaveragevalueofdrynessinnortheastregionswas2.28,belongingtothesub-humidclimate;andthevalueinmiddleregionswas3.4whichbelongedtothesemi-aridclimate.Therereachedaconclusionwhichwasanalysedintermsofdifferentseasonsshowingthatthedegreeofdrynessforthefourseasonswas:springwinterautumnsummer,whereas,theoveralltendencyofthewholeautonomousregionwasunchanged,itstilltendedtobelargerfromwesttoeastplaces.ByanalysingthedistributionlawofNDVIinInnerMongoliabetweentheyearof2008and2
