Greet the pupils, then read the sentence for the first week. 2.Sing a song together.《Big big word》 Step 2 Presentation 1.lead in T: Ok, I low are you today? SS: Im fine, thank you. And you ? T: I feel bad. Because I ate hot pot and 5 ice creams. 2.Show more pictures on the screen. Encourage the students to answer. T: How about this boy? Is he OK? SS: He feels hungry. 3.The teacher teaches terrible, fired, thirsty, sleepy, uncomfortable, hungry in the same way. 4.Let students read the words together. 5.Practise the words: the teacher does action and students guess the words. 6.Lets look at the people again. How do they feel? T: How does he feel? SS: He feels hungry. T: What can he do ? What should you say? SS: Youd better eat some bread. 7. The teacher teaches the rest in the same way. 8. Look and read, then spell the word Step 3 Practise 1.Ask some ss to pretends to be a sick person and practice. 2.Show the pictures and get Ss to ask and answer in pairs. A student pretends to be a sick person and the other one is a doctor. 3. Ask several pairs to act in class. Step 4.Homework. 1. Write 5 pairs of conversations. 2. Remember the words and phrases.
