第三週 基本文法架構總複習(二) 本週學習目標： 第三週將繼續基本文法架構第二部分的說明，作為本高級英文法課程的基礎複習。 9.假設語氣(subjunctive mood ) 複習重點：瞭解假設語氣的類型、意義及其固定結構。 說明：假設語氣是動詞的三種語氣之一。絕大部分動詞的語氣都是直說語氣(indicative mood)，其餘部分動詞的語氣除了假設語氣還有祈使/命令語氣(imperative mood)。對於事實與否的直接陳述( =表達事實或疑問)通常使用直說語氣，如果此種對於事實與否的陳述是假定的，則使用假設語氣來表達。 例句： 1. The death toll is now at 19. (直說語氣) 2. Why are you two so hostile? (直說語氣) 3. You must go now! (祈使/命令語氣) 4. Go! (祈使/命令語氣) If假設語氣類型： a. 表達因果關係的假設語氣句型：If子句使用現在式 + 主要子句使用未來式 例句： If you get 18 credits next semester, you will/can gain a college diploma. b. 表達願望的假設語氣句型：If子句使用過去式 + 主要子句使用could, should or would加上原形動詞 例句： If I lived in the States, I could/should/would have much more opportunities to speak English. (此句表達願意住在美國的願望) c. 表達與事實相反的假設語氣句型：If子句使用were + 主要子句使用would, should or could加上原形動詞 例句： 1. If I were you, I would not say so. (但我不是你) 2. If he were rich, he should help the poor. (但他不富有) 3. If you were single, I could marry you. (但你不是單身) d. 表達未實現行為的假設語氣句型：If子句使用過去完成式 + 主要子句使用would, should, could or might加上have + 主動詞 or have been + (主動詞) 例句： 1. If you had studied harder, you would have gained the college diploma. 2. If I had won the jackpot, I could have been a rich man again. 3. If I had had a Ph.D. title, I should have been invited. e. 表達純粹推測的假設語氣句型：If子句使用were + 不定詞 + 主要子句使用would, should, could or might加上主動詞 例句： 1. If he were to leave right now, he might lose his job. 2. If you were to play the game, you could be the winner. f. 表達突發事件的假設語氣句型：If子句使用should + 主動詞 + 主要子句使用will, can, must 加上主動詞 例句： If you should have any questions, you can call us at 1-800-945688. = Should you have any questions, you can call us at 1-800-945688. 10. 關係代名詞及關係副詞(relative pronouns and relative adverbs) 複習重點：基本關係代名詞和關係副詞的結構差異、使用限定關係子句和非限定關係子句的意義、關係子句的文法功能。 說明：關係代名詞主要用來形成當形容詞用的關係子句(但是少數特殊關係代名詞也可形成當名詞或副詞用的關係子句)。關係子句又分為限定關係子句和非限定關係子句。前者主要特徵為不使用逗號分開，表「部分的」之意；後者主要特徵為使用逗號分開，表「唯一的」或「所有的」之意。主要關係代名詞為who, which, that及其變格。when, where, why, how為四大關係副詞，接子句形成當形容詞用或名詞用的關係子句
