前列腺癌-Prostate Cancer 前列腺癌-Prostate癌症 What is the prostate gland? 前列腺是什么? The prostate gland (just called prostate from now on) is only found in men. It lies just beneath the bladder (see diagram). It is normally about the size of a chestnut. 前列腺(就叫做“前列腺“从现在起)只存在于人。它位于膀胱下方(见图)。它通常大小约一个栗子吧。 The urethra (the tube which passes urine from the bladder) runs through the middle of the prostate. By the age of 70, about 8 in 10 men have an enlarged prostate. Cancer is a disease of the cells in the body. The body is made up from millions of tiny cells. There are many different types of cell in the body, and there are many different types of cancer which arise from different types of cell.
