Abstract
“Deschooled” Education , is well-known radical idea proposed by American education critic Ivan Illich in the late 60’s of the 20th century. Although Illichs ideas are
accused of “radical”, “extreme” or even “absurd”,there were indeed the problems of
contemporary education,his revealing,analysis and criticism are undoubtedly deep. And he advocated a radical education extent,also reveals the trend of modern education,
which importantly inspiriting the contemporary world of education reform and development. Key points of “Deschooled” Education are mainly in his monograph
deschooling society. Alienation of school education , “schooled”of society and
deschooling society are main points. This article reference the theory of Ivan Illich—“Deschooled” Education,only for innovative educational concept of patriotism.
Through the existing survey results of effectiveness in patriotism, author mainly from educational level analyses the low current effectiveness of patriotic education. Referenced
Illich’s thought,author analyzes the underlying causes of low effectiveness: Alienation of
patriotic education. Alienation of patriotic education mainly refers to valued measurement of educational,tooled of the aims of education,ritualized of educational content and
process. And “schooled” tendency mainly refers to the education environment “schooled” and education approach “schooled”. In the last part of article,inspired from “Deschooled” Education, author does a initial construction of the ideal vision and proposes the path
which putting forward effective patriotic education vision to the reality of the transformation. The path mainly includes changing educational philosophy and perfecting patriotic education system such as patriotic education evaluation system and patriotic education management system.
