Symptoms ofTourette Syndrome (A) Vocal Tics It can be said that the best known symptoms of Tourette syndrome. It an be divided into simple and complex. (A) Vocal Tics The simple Vocal tics include making some simple sounds like clearing throat or blowing nose. The complex Vocal tics include: obscene words, repeating the words of others, repeatedly muttering, issued grunt like a pig or dogs barking. (B) Motor Tics They are involuntary movements, usually occurs in the muscles of the face and neck. It an be divided into simple and complex too. (B) Motor Tics The simple Motor tics is a transient burst action. Its model is only a single location muscle cramps, like blinking, shruging or shaking head. The complex Motor tics is a series of actions. It looks like intentional, but in fact they are involuntary do those actions. Such as smelling something or imitating actions of others. (C) Feeling Tics A precursor to the onset of symptoms. For example: dry eyelids, neck ache, burning sensation, sense of tension, muscle tension, pain.
