万方数据万方数据 Abstract Antenna can be employed as a device to transfer and radiate energy. Omnidirectional antennas whose frequency belong to UHF paly an important role in radar and communication systems. So it is of great significance to research them. Series-fed cylindrical omnidirectional antenna are designed based on slotted coaxial antenna, which extend two dipole arms in the gap. Input impedance are obtained by equivalent circuit model of impedance based on the transmission line model and circuit topology. Bowl dipole antenna, with wideband properties due to the slow decay of the current and good impedance characteristic. Changed dipole arm into bowl dipole to obtain wide bandwidth. Analyze its equivalent circuit model to achieve impedance matching. Product yield and precision of antenna are estimated by tolerance analysis. The equivalent circuit model, proposed in this thesis can be employed as a feasibility basis for impedance matching. Series-fed cylindrical omnidirectional antenna possesses the performances of wide bandwidth, good radiation characteristics and relatively simple structure. It is suitable for engineering applications.
