华华中科技大学硕士学位论文 II II Abstract Aperture synthesis radiometers have been developed for observation with advantage of using a static array of small antennas, avoiding the scanning of the large antenna required by real aperture radiometer. Synthetic aperture radiometer applies the interferometric principle to sample in the spatial frequency domain and retrieves the image by Fourier or other numerical transformation. So inversion algorithm is necessary. This thesis was completed following the project, focusing on the research of the imaging theory of aperture synthesis and the image inversion and enhancement. The basic theory of aperture synthesis used in microwave radiometer is analyzed systematically in this thesis, according to the interferometry. According to the imaging mechanism of aperture synthesis, the research and analysis about the inversion algorithms was presented. The application of inversion algorithms in a real aperture synthesis radiometers is analyzed. Since most errors can be accurately calibrated, the CLEAN algorithm is presented to the image enhancement, which based on the Fourier transform inversion algorithm. An improved CLEAN algorithm is proposed to the 2-D imaging. In this thesis, we presented the analysis and research on these topics. Point source and extended source are used as the background respectively in the experiment and theory analysis. Finally the results of the simulation show that the improved image quality is improved.
