Abstract After flowing through the throttle valve, the volume of high pressure gas will swell, the pressure will decline, and the temperature will drop. When the temperature drops lowly enough, there will be a possibility that natural gas hydrates might be formed. It can block up valves, glib talkers, pipelines, and equipments. The assembled NGH is a kind of crystal, it presents white, and sometimes it shows rust. The extrinsic feature of NGH seems like bulk ice, or tight snow. NGH is an erratic solder, it can resolve into gas and water at low pressure or high temperature. Hence, how to design the throttling process of high pressure natural gas, so it will not form NGH while gathering in well site, and it can guarantee produce safely, which is an extremely important job. This thesis is base on the actual item situation of PuGuang filed, studying and designing the throttling technique of theD405 station. Gas/liquid mixed transportation technology is used in this gas field because of the features of Puguang so that there is no segregator and sewerage. A lot of criterion and document of gas gathering station design and calculation has been studied under the condition of comprehensively using the professional knowledge. In the process, the gas has been sending to the station, after been imputing alcohol, throttling, heating and measuring, and then it would be sending to the last gathering station. In this thesis, there are two process charts of well site, one heating chart, and one chart of imputing alcohol. It calculates many parameters after referring chart, table, criteria, and HYSYS software. It contains basement physical property of natural gas and fuel gas, temperature drop of throttling, throttling ratio; hydrate formed temperature, capacity factor of water jacket heating furnace, and the amount of imputed methanol. Moreover, it draws the relevant plot of hydrates. Finally, the paper lists the technology parameter, equipment mode and advice to the process. Keywo
