At first, the development of the plank filter-press is introduced in this paper, the structure of plank filter-press and its specification are also described in detail. Based on it, the electrical controlling systems are designed, which contains the main circuit, the controlling circuit of PLC and controlling program. The PLC used here is OMRON CPM2A with 60 I/O points. The ladder program is designed according to the principle of the plank filter-press operation, which has automatic and manual functions. The program has been debugged in the lab after designation.
