Laboratory safety and rules Read all directions for an experiment and follow them exactly as they are written. Never eat or drink in the laboratory. Never perform activities that are not authorized by your teacher. When an experiment is completed, you should clean up your work area and return all equipments to its proper place. There should be no loud talking, horseplay or pranks in the laboratory. There should not be late or leave early. If you have something to deal with, you should ask for leave in advance.
