By using a short questionnaire,which was developed by the author ,in order to investigate current spreading situation of horoscope、the way they get to know about horoscope、the degree of belief in personality descriptions of horoscope .Besides, college students with different sex or specialty or the number of personality description of sun-sign matched accurately ，are these subjects have difference on the belief in personality descriptions of horoscope.Finally ,we also explore whether or not the score of sixteen personality factor have effect on the degree of belief in personality descriptions of horoscope 。 The research got several results listed below: 1．Horoscope is spreaded widely among college students，especially the personality descriptions of horoscope。 2．Internet has been the main way for college students to get information of horoscope。 3．Women express a higher degree of belief in personality description of sun-sign。 4．College students of liberal arts specialty show a stronger belief in personality description of sun-sign。 5．Belief in personality description of sun-sign is significantly correlated with the number of match personality description of sun-sign accurately。 6． There is significantly negative correlation between factor M、Q1、C4 and the degree of belief in personality descriptions of horoscope。 Key word：Horoscope Personality description Belief College students 16PF 前言 星座性格描述是基于星相学意义上各自对应的黄道带、行星等，对不同星座个体的性格特质进行描述。在纷繁复杂的报纸等各种媒体的传播下，这种描述并不是教科书式的复制，但与十二星座对应的一些核心性格特质的描述基本一致。 在我国，随着中西方文化交流的不断发展与深入，星座这个古老而神秘的舶来品越来越
