It constitutes the cornerstone of family and social relationships. Marriage is not only a folk phenomenon, but also is a typical cultural phenomenon. Its development is closely related to political and economic development. It mainly includes the marriage form and the system of etiquette. After entering the Central Plains, the Qing Dynasty’s politics, economy and culture has achieved rapid development, and its marriage acquisition system has vividly reflected this change. This paper attempts to study the process of evolution and characteristics of marriage acquisition system in the Qing Dynasty from its entry to its end. At the same time, this paper discovers the close relationship between its historical impact and social life. Looking back while looking to the future, this paper takes advantage of its bright spot so that it still can play a unique role in modern society. The paper aims to achieve the revival of the glorious Chinese civilization etiquette on the basis of the protection of traditional Chinese culture and the unique culture of ethnic minorities.
