Enhance Your Programming with SAS DATA Step Views

Abstract
SAS DATA step views provide virtual data sets within the SAS system, and, used properly, can enhance or
increase the power of your programming. Here we review 2 examples of DATA step view usage:
1. Using views, one can process extremely large sequential data sets (flat files and/or SAS native
files) that otherwise would require too much disk spac
