(=Although he is told many times, he...) * * 分词作状语 一、分词具有形容词和副词的性质,在句中可以做表语、定语、状语、宾语补足语。 现在分词 doing 表主动 进行 过去分词 done 表被动 完成 过去分词只有一种形式,现在分词有四种形式 主动态 被动态 一般式 doing being done 完成式 having done having been done not not not not 现在分词的四种形式的应用 1.Seeing the teacher,the students stopped talking.(同时) 2.Being kept waiting,they became impatient. 3.Being kept working ,they hated their boss. 4.Having finished his homework,the boy went out to play. ① ② 5.Not having finished theirwork,they were left by their teacher after school. 6.Having been told many times, he still couldn’t remember it. 7.The meeting being held now is very important.(=which is being held now) 8.He found their house being painted. 现在分词变化形式的意义 1.现在分词的一般形式表示的动作与谓语动作同时发生,或几乎同时发生。 Working hard,you will succeed in the experiment. Hearing the news,she burst into tears. 2分词的完成式表示的动作先于谓语动作发生 Having lived there for many years, he knows the city well. 3.现在分词被动形式:表示动作对于逻辑主语而言在意义上是被动的 I’d like to have a look at the animal being operated on . 4.在表示一个被动动作时,如果这个动作在进行或是与谓语动作同时发生,可以用一般式的被动形式(being done) The bridge being built now will be completed next year. This is one of the experiments being carried out in our lab. 5.在表示一个被动动作时,如果这个动作发生在谓语动词之前,用完成式的被动式having been done, 也可以用过去分词代替。 Having been shown the lab, they looked around the reading room. (=Shown the lab,they…) 五.现在分词作状语的意义 形式 意 义 doing 与句中主语构成逻辑上的主谓关系,与谓语动词同时或几乎同时发生 being done 与句中主语构成逻辑上的动宾关系,且与谓语动词同时发生,位于句首时,一般作原因状语 having done 与句中主语构成逻辑上的主谓关系,先于谓语动词发生 having been done 与句中主语构成逻辑上的动宾关系,且先于谓语动词发生 eg: Hearing the news, he jumped up with joy.
