(宾语) We will carry the reform to the end no matter what happens. (主语) No matter what you are, you should serve the people.(表语);⑵who 作主语（宾语形式为whom, 形容词形式为?whose） No matter who said this, he was wrong. He insisted on giving the money back no matter whom it belonged to. I want to borrow the bike for a while no matter whose it is as I’m in a hurry.? ? ;⑶ when作时间状语 No matter when you are free, you can come here for a cup of coffee. He was always working no matter when I went to see him. ⑷ where作地点状语 The police will find the criminal no matter where he hides himself. No matter where one goes, he can never forget his hometown.;⑸ which作定语 I shall give the book to you no matter which one you like. ⑹no matter how +adj./adv. +s(主语) +v（谓语） +其他 No matter how tired he was, he went on doing his work. He failed again no matter how hard he tried.;⑺no matter what / who / when…与what- / who- / when-…ever异同 ①??no matter who， what， when等引导让步状语从句时，可与whoever, whatever, whenever等换用No matter who knocks, don’t open the door. = Whoever knocks, don’t open the door. ②引导主语
