Abstract With the rapid development of the economy, car ownership has increased year by year, more and more people choose the car as transport travel, making the citys worsening traffic congestion. Automobile exhaust pollution has become an important source of atmospheric pollution, while slow moving traffic commercial street is undoubtedly the most polluted cities area. Most of the streets lined with buildings introduce the fresh air to indoor by the form of a natural ventilation to ensure good indoor air quality. In commercial Street in serious pollution or traffic congested road, exhaust pollution by automobile exhaust gas come into the interior with natural ventilation, not only can not dilute to indoor air pollution, but also even exacerbate indoor air pollution levels. In this study, use of computational fluid dynamics CFD numerical calculations simulate neighborhoods dispersion of pollutants and indoor natural ventilation. Fluent software simulate the dispersion of pollutants distribution of Hohhot Zhongshan West Road, Commercial Street, the east side of the section, analyse the structure of the flow field. And the measured data prove the reliability of the numerical simulation. The analog get blocks building surface air pressure, temperature, concentration of pollutants distribution, analyse the changes of wind pressure, concentration, temperature in the vertical height. In the case of North, South, drafts of three wind conditions the same sources of pollution were done numerical calculation, compare the dispersion of pollutants in three conditions, analyse the three conditions of natural ventilation, ventilation potential. Explore exhaust and ambient temperature difference or not, the differences of the blocks the flow field to provide a reference for the future the blocks flow field numerical calculation.
