Abstract There are a lot of starting points about architecture design. “The Conscious of Urban” as an entry point of the architecture design is to think about the building creation on the level of city. In recent years, the chaos of urban construction and the lower the quality of living environment lead to a lot of problems. Under the condition of rapid development of the city in our country recently, it is necessary to explore building creation under the concept of “The Conscious of Urban”. In this paper, I intend to discuss the construction creative methods based on the city in line with the harmonious development of city. The first part completed the integration of urban theory in thinking and methods which has guiding significance about the construction creation. Then the concept was given to the architectural creation based on the concept of the conscious of urban and explained about content. The second part is focus on the concept of architectural creation based on the city under the framework of the paper. In the part, the concept of architectural creation based on the city is divided into elements of the form and content of elements. Elements of urban form are summed up the impact on the architectural creation caused by the study of urban morphology. Now the theory of urban form is quite mature, so the paper is mainly to discuss the rules which are followed by the architectural creation based on urban form. The contents of the elements about the conscious of urban mainly discuss the performance of the city in the spirit of phenomenology, as well as performance of the typology, but also put forward the design principles and the methods which should be followed when we take into the practice the concept of urban architectural creation elements. Through the two parts above, summed up the creative thinking based on concept of the conscious of urban, but also put forward some specific creative methods to guide the future practice of architectural creation.
