InuYasha is a half-demon who initially (最初）wanted to use the power of the sacred jewel to become a full-blooded demon, like his older half-brother, Sesshomaru. InuYasha changed his mind and instead, wanted to use the sacred jewel to become a human so he could live with her, but Naraku manipulated （操作）the both of them into believing they had been betrayed by one another.
