Abstract :Ｒheological characteristic is one of the most important characteristics of liquid
coatings． It might determine the usability and application performance of liquid coatings． UV－
curable coating has a similar rheology issue as conventional coatings ，such as leveling ，settle-
ment ，sagging and the feeding problem caused by the rheological property． In this paper ，the
rheological behavior of additives in UV－curable coatings has been investigated． Thus ，the suit-
able additives are selected to improve the leveling ，anti － settling and anti － sagging perform-
ance．
