Therefore, local Party newspapers are frequently becoming the focus of attention.However, after our country adopted socialist market economy, great changes, which exerted huge influence on local news report, have taken place in our country’s newspaper structure. The once simple-formed Party newspapers have been diversified.Such newspapers as evening news, city news, life news, and specialized news have doubled and redoubled. Meanwhile, information and messages from cellphones and computers transmit information in greater amounts,and foreign media also want to share the market in our country. The change and the increase provide more alternatives to the reading public who now have more free access to various newspapers . As a result, local Party newspapers , the only information source in the past, are being challenged. Thus, how to make local Party newspapers more competitive is a problem demanding prompt solution.
