Using improper software development methodology for the development of software products and services is at great cost to the entrepreneurs, businesses and society. The paper will give some fresh ideas to software development management for startup. Through the research of lean and agile software development, it outlines the values and principles of agile software development, and the typical representative of the method are described. Research on Lean Startup that new startup management methods, the thesis gives a comprehensive introduction to its origins, concepts, features, benefits, principle, and essence.According to the characteristics of startup, it proposes lean startup to be a guide, and explores how to apply and evolve of lean and agile software development in startup.
