With the national investment in education, construction of our university campus has reached an unprecedented peak.With the trend of needing multiple and composite fuctions that impels the structural variations on campus, the advanced conceptions of education and design are mainly reflected in the design of the building cluster of teaching center on university campus. However, the process of some design and construction is in a flash, lacking the comprehensive, long-term thinking about designing building cluster of teaching center on university campus. At present, there’s no enough research in this field . Therefore, this paper eagers to look for a complete design method to expound the design of the building cluster of teaching center on university campus. In this paper, the researching object is the building cluster of teaching center on university campus. Furthermore, the paper mainly discusses the formation and development of the building cluster of teaching center on university campus, analyzes the formation and space of building cluster, and then seeks a conception of campus-design under the multiple values and social ideologies, thus, provides a beneficial reference to creating a good spacial surroundings on campus. There are four chapters in this paper, dividing into background research, status analysis, construction strategies, and design methods. In Chapter 1, the writer briefly introduces the background of the selected topic, researching scope and basic conceptions of the building cluster of teaching center on university campus, and then puts forward the aim, significance, methods, and framework of the research.
