* * 主谓一致 主讲人:罗金 主谓一致 定义:指谓语动词应与主语在时态、语态、数和人称上保持一致。 1.主谓一致的就近原则 指谓语动词应与最临近的主语在人称和数上保持一致。 记住:neither…nor… either…or… not only…but also… not…but… 主谓一致的就近原则 ...or... there be结构 eg:1.Either you or he is no telling the truth. 2.Not only the teachers but also the students have known the news. 2.主谓的就远原则 指谓语动词应与较远的主语在人称和数上保持一致。 记住:including rather than instead of 主谓的就远原则 with along with together with as/like but/except/besides as well as in addition to eg:1.I,as well as my wife,was responsible for the lose of our child. 2.The teacher,together with his students, works part of the week in the lab. 特殊句式的主谓一致 (1)and连接的两个或两个以上的主语,在表示单一概念时,谓语动词用单数;在表示不同概念时,谓语动词用复数。 1.The bread and butter__(taste) well. 2.A fork and knife__(be)not enough 3.A fork and a knife__(be)not enough. 4.No girl and no boy__(like)to play with . him. 特殊句式的主谓一致 注:and连接的两个或两个以上的主语,在表示不同概念时,如果名词前有no,each, every,many a(许多、大量)修饰时,谓语动词用单数。 eg:Every student and every teacher was in the room. (2)and连接两个带the/a的单数可数名词时,谓语动词用复数;如果只有前一个名词带 the/a,则谓语动词用单数。 特殊句式的主谓一致 eg:The singer and dancer comes from Guangxi. A teacher and a student are doing an experiment in the lab. (3)了解:下列集体名词作主语时,在表示组织时,谓语用单数;在表示组织中的具体成员时,谓语用复数。 特殊句式的主谓一致 eg:1.Our class__(be) small,but our class__(be) friendly to each other. 2.Our team__(be) full,so they dont eat anything. (4)all of; most of; half of; the rest of; plenty of; lots of; the majority of+n作主语,谓语动词取决于of后面的名词而定。 特殊句式的主谓一致 eg:1.Half of his students have entered Peking university. 2.Half of his money has been stolen. (5)百分数、分数词修饰名词作主语,谓语动词取决于of后的名词而定。 eg:Five percent (5%) of the students__(be) good at maths. Three-fourths of the work has been done by now. 特殊句式的主谓一致 (6)动词不定式、动名词或主语从句作主语,谓语动词只用单数,但what引导的主语从句看情况而定。 1.To see is to believe. 2.When and where to die is depended on by you. 3.To kill a pig and to kill a person are different. 特殊句式的主谓一致 4.What he said was right. 5.What farmers need are technology and
