Faced with this new situation, new demands, hospice will highlight its importance. Compared with Western countries, Chinas elderly hospice services development at an initial stage development by the traditional concept of death are more and more difficult. Literature on end-of-life care in the elderly has continued to rise, but mostly based on clinical medicine research perspective; even social work intervention research, most only stay on the situation, the necessity of the development model. There are little about these methods of social work cases, groups, community practice. This article will intervene Social Casework Practice Research of the dying man, so as to reflect and summaries the practice of social work for the elderly hospice. This article uses the case method and based on a service launched a dying man caring in Wuhan City. According to the theory of Maslows Theory of Needs and Strengths Perspective, the author will analyze their needs by collecting data from in-depth interviews and other research.
