II II Abstract Human Resources as one of the key elements in bank management absorb particular attention in bank field. Thus, Human Resource Engineering plays an important role in it. Personnel performance examination is the core operation in commercial bank. Although it has been developed for many years in abroad, there are still so many works need to be done for it. It is also become the difficult problem of human resources management in China’s commercial bank. Performance evaluation is not only related to commercial Banks could satisfactorily completed current task index, also in relation to the interests of its clients are able to get ensuring. Based on the performance evaluation related theory, the study analyzes the present situation of the performance assessment of the Nantong branch of China Minsheng bank, finding the existing problems of it, and improving the performance evaluation system of the Nantong branch. The first chapter of this paper briefly introduces the thesis research background, purpose and meaning, the present situation of research, the research contents and methods, etc. The second chapter simply explains related theory of performance appraisal. In the third chapter, it has a detailed analysis for the organization structure, human resources, business conditions and the present situation of the performance evaluation of Nantong branch. Combined with the actual in performance appraisal, it has a further analysis for the problems and the reasons. Based on the chapter three, chapter four presents the design of continuous improvement of Nantong branch performance evaluation. Finally, chapter five puts forward the relevant measures guaranteed the smooth implementation of performance appraisal system.
