PAGE PAGE VI Empirical Study on the Effect of Corporate Governance to Listed Companies’ Social Responsibility Abstract As food security, environmental protection and other related social problems expose, people pay more attention to the performance of the social responsibility of the company. Corporate social responsibility protect the interests of shareholders, creditors, employees, customers, suppliers and the government . This can achive the harmonious development of the whole society. But what factors influence the corporate to fulfill social responsibility, and how to promote the company to carry out social responsibility? This paper go from the corporate governance of shareholders, the board of directors and the board of supervisors, executive the characteristics of incentive, equity structure and so on . The empirical research on the influence of the social responsibility to the company find out the influence factors of corporate governance, and put forward some relevant suggestions. This has realistic meanings to construct the harmonious society This paper is mainly by empirical study, combining standard research. First of all, this paper defines the content of the corporate governance and social responsibility . Then reviews the domestic and foreign corporate governance and social responsibility literature so far. Thirdly, in stakeholder theory, the principal-agent theory, and relevant policies and regulations as support, this paper analyses the influence of related aspects of corporate governance to the social responsibility of the company. Fourthly, according to the 2007- 2009 Shanghai 1935 samples of the listed company data as the research object, this paper puts forward the research hypotheses in the corporate governance of the shareholders meeting, board of directors and the board of supervisors, executive the characteristics of incentive, equity structure, empirical analyses the influence of corporate governance to social responsibility of the list
