When I walked in the street, I met an old friend. 2.作原因状语,用being+名词/形容词位于主句前。相当于as, because, since等引导的原因状语从句. 表示分词所发生的动作与谓语动词所发生的动作同时发生或近于同时发生。 Being excited, I couldn’t go to sleep. Being a student, you should study hard. Because you are a student, you should study hard. 3.伴随或方式状语。位于主句前或后。说明动作发生的背景或情况。它表示分词的动作和主句的动作同时发生。可以改为and连接的并列句。 He sat on the sofa watching TV.
