: 中华民族史的研究始于20 世纪20 年代, 以常乃悳出版的《中华民族小史》为标志, 至
今已走 了85 个年头。 回顾中华民族史研究的这85 年的历程, 不仅有金秋丰收的喜悦, 同时也不乏
艰辛和曲折。20世纪80 年代以后, 中华民族凝聚力的讨论, 以及萧君和主编的《中华民族史》和田哓
岫的《中华民族发展史》的出版, 迎来了中华民族史研究的春天。但是, 为了中华民族的复兴, 中华民
族史的研究还任重而道远。

Abstract:It has been 85 years full of ups and downs since the study of the Chinese ation star-
ted in the 1920s with Chang nai-de S ma ll H is tory of t he Ch inese N a tion as its marker.After the
1980s, the discussion of the cohesive force of the Chinese ation, Xiao jun-he s H istory of t he
Chinese N a tion and Tian xiao-xiu s D evelop men t H istory of th e Ch inese N at ion marked as the
spring of the study of the Chinese ation.However, such study still has a long way to go for the
rejuvenation of the Chinese ation.
