II Abstract Ancient Chinese is a basic course for students majoring in Chinese language and literature of our countrys higher normal colleges, ancient Chinese translation of ancient Chinese prose teaching is an important part of ancient Chinese teaching. teachers teaching ancient Chinese not only to improve students Chinese reading ability, but also to cultivate the ability of classical Chinese teaching in middle school students. This depends on the teacher translation of ancient Chinese prose in the very great degree level. With the social progress, the ancient Chinese teaching is facing new challenges , thus it is necessary to solve the present stage of ancient Chinese translation teaching . This paper is divided into three parts: firstly, taking Hubei Province as an example, sampling investigation on three using the same version of ancient Chinese teaching in Higher Normal College of Chinese language and literature, with the first grade teacher, related to the ancient Chinese translation of ancient Chinese prose teaching by questionnaire investigation, three aspects the survey includes interest, the ancient Chinese translation of ancient Chinese prose teaching ancient Chinese translation of ancient Chinese prose teaching content and method of teaching ancient Chinese translation of ancient Chinese prose teaching, and selected the three universities in the three ancient Chinese teachers use interview method to understand the situation of the ancient Chinese translation teaching. Interview content also includes three aspects, emphasis on ancient Chinese translation teaching, teaching contents, teaching from the perspective of teachers, teaching arrangement, teaching methods adopted in practice difficult situation made investigation and further. Secondly, analyzed the main problems existing in current higher teacher of ancient Chinese translation of ancient Chinese prose teaching and their causes, including some teachers and students treat ancient Chinese translatio
