We used to call it the steel structure 3D modeling technology, which was in the step of the development of modeling and automatic detailing. However, the application of information generated from BIM system in the following process has always been neglected. This paper mainly describes the creating process of BIM in steel structure manufacture and the application of BIM information in the following fabrication process.
