Abstract This paper deals w ith the guidance model of a pair of electro magnets dis-
placed by each other in side direction of mo dule structure EM S m aglev vehicle realizes
guidance control using forg eting factor ,and compares the guidance results o f active co n-
tr ol system and self-stable system by simulation. The influence of g uide co ntro l on sus-
pension of the vehicle is discussed.
